Our Team

Pastor Tom is married to Kim and has 3 grown children. He is a well-travelled author and international speaker who loves a good cup of coffee (tea is ok too). Born in CA, he grew up in Saskatoon and has served churches in Texas, Winnipeg, Norway, North Delta, Maple Ridge and Langley in various capacities since 1987. Tom has a B.Ed., M.Div.BL and D.Min. If you drive past Hope on the #1 there’s a chance you might spot him gold panning along the Fraser River. Tom is known to say, “I don’t expect perfection or excellence, just your best effort”.  Pastor Tom has served our church as lead pastor since May 2021.

Hi, I’m Austin! I joined the church staff in May of 2024 and am passionate about discipleship, outreach, and helping others grow in their faith. After graduating from Bible College, I spent several years working with youth through a non-Christian agency and also served as an interim youth pastor. I had the incredible opportunity to spend nine months in Thailand serving with Imagine Thailand, which deepened my heart for missions. In my free time, I enjoy sports, motorcycles, board games, and just about anything active or adventurous!
