Nursery Kids Zone 1
Care for our youngest. Support Young Families.
Help create a safe, welcoming space for babies and toddlers while parents attend the service. Your presence allows families to rest, worship, and feel at home.
REQUIREMENT: Grade 5+ (Adults require a criminal record check)
SCHEDULE: Sundays (1st or 2nd service) 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Preschool Teachers/Helpers Kids Zone 2
Make faith fun and meaningful.
Help lead kids (Ages 3-5) through engaging lessons that include Bible stories, songs, crafts, and play. Everything is provided — you just bring your energy and care.
Training is Provided!
REQUIREMENT: Grade 8+ (Adults require a criminal record check)
SCHEDULE: Sundays (1st or 2nd service) 1 Month on / 1 month off
Elementary Teachers/Helpers Kids Zone 3
Invest in the next generation.
Lead and support kids (Grades 1-4) as they grow in faith through bible teaching, games, videos, and discussion. Build relationships and make a lasting impact.
Training is Provided!
REQUIREMENT: Grade 8+ (Adults require a criminal record check)
SCHEDULE: Sundays (1st or 2nd service) 1 Month on / 1 month off
Kids Club
Create a fun and safe place for kids to belong.
Help lead kids (Grades K-4) through games, songs, snacks, and Bible-based teachings. Be a consistent, caring presence in a space where kids can grow and feel known.
REQUIREMENT: Grade 8+ (Adults require a criminal record check)
SCHEDULE: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 PM
MRAC Middle
Show up, build trust, and make an impact.
Walk alongside students (Grades 5-7) Thorough conversations, games, and small groups. Be someone who listens, encourages, and points them toward Christ.
REQUIREMENT: Grade 10+ (Adults require a criminal record check)
SCHEDULE: Wednesdays, 5:45-7:30 PM (occasional meetings)
MRAC Youth
Lead students. Influence Lives.
Be a steady leader for students (Grades 8-12) — Someone who listens, cares, and helps them grow into their faith and to know Jesus.
Training is Provided!
REQUIREMENT: Criminal record check required
SCHEDULE: Tuesdays, 6:30-9:00 PM (occasional meetings)
Worship
Lead people into worship.
Join the team that helps create meaningful worship experiences each and every Sunday. If you sing or play an instrument, we’d love to have you join us!
REQUIREMENT: Ability to sing and/or play an instrument.
SCHEDULE: Thursday rehearsals, 7:00-9:00 PM + Sunday services (twice a month or as available)
Audio & Visual
Shape the experience behind the scenes.
Run slides, lyrics, or step behind the soundboard to mix audio levels if you have an ear for it! for our Sunday services.
Training is Provided!
REQUIREMENT: Basic computer or tech familiarity
SCHEDULE: Thursday rehearsals, 7:00-9:00 PM + Sunday services (twice a month or as available)
Livestream & Camera
Capture moments that reach beyond the room.
Operate cameras, capture shots, or help run the livestream. Play a key role in sharing what’s happening at MRAC with those watching online.
Training is Provided!
REQUIREMENT: Basic computer or tech familiarity
SCHEDULE: Sunday 1st service (twice a month or as available)
Hospitality
Welcome and assist!
GREETERS: arrive before the congregation. provide a warm welcome to everyone at the doors & help with the offering collection during the service!
INFO DESK ATTENDANTS: Greet visitors, answer, answer questions, & facilitate sign-ups!
REQUIREMENT: Big Smiles!
SCHEDULE: Sundays (1st or 2nd service) 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Coffee Ministry
Prepare and serve fresh coffee & tea!
Arrive on time to prepare & maintain fresh, tidy beverage services to congregants during services. This role is best suited to teams of two — couples, Friends, Teens, & Parents are encouraged to sign up!
Training is provided!
REQUIREMENT: Big Smiles!
SCHEDULE: Sundays (1st or 2nd service) once per month
Alpha Helpers
Help create a space for meaningful conversations!
Support our Alpha course by helping with setup, preparing delicious food, hosting, or cleanup. Alpha is a place where people explore faith and ask honest questions — and you get to help make that possible!
Potential table leaders are also invited to inquire!
REQUIREMENT: Willingness to serve and be part of a team!
SCHEDULE: Mondays & Tuesdays
On-Call Volunteers
Use your skills when they’re needed most.
Have a specialized skill or just a willingness to help? Such as specific work experience, training, trades, labor, etc.? Or perhaps you’re simply willing to be trained in areas where needed. Join our on-call team and be part of what’s needed, when it’s needed.
Opportunities may include setup, admin support, events, security, food prep, decorating, and more!
Our church is a wonderful venue for community outreach opportunities, and are always open to those willing to help! You’ll be added to a contact list and invited to serve when needs arise — no regular commitment required.

Many ministries at MRAC involve working alongside children and those who would be considered part of the “Vulnerable sector.” It’s so important for us to be there for people, to make sure we take the correct Safety and Risk Management training procedures, as well as Background checks. Employees & volunteers who will be working in those ministries can access important safety information and procedures here!
